Tomorrow’s full blood moon eclipse marks the end of eclipse season and another turn of the spiral.

They have been for me. The Fire Horse energy arrived right on time with the new moon on February 17.
Eclipse season, which began with that new moon solar eclipse, offers an opportunity for a cosmic reset. Eclipses often bring intense energy and unexpected challenges.
Have you been noticing patterns that are not serving you? Burdens that are no longer yours to carry?
Cue the Whiteout
Here in Edmonton, we have been cycling through very cold temperatures as well as stretches that are unseasonably warm. The snow had melted so much last week I could see my grass and now the shovels and snow plows are out again.
The other day I got stuck in my car in a whiteout (translation: it was snowing really hard).
When I stopped trying to un-fog the windows so I could see, I was able to settle in and just be present with the experience of sitting there, fully enveloped in fog and swirling snow. I realized, like the eclipse, this was another opportunity for a reset.
I could struggle against the weather and be frustrated because I wasn’t able to move out of the parking lot.
Or I could open myself up to where I was and what I was experiencing.
How beautiful that these opportunities for reset have come in pairs: black and white, day and night, new and full moon eclipse.
Once I made the decision to reset my attitude, it became surprisingly easy. But first I had to recognize that I was being offered a reset at all.

The spiral has turned again.
This year, I feel that same current of renewal, but it is asking something different of me. Instead of building quietly behind the scenes, I am opening the circle.
