Stepping Across the Threshold: Launching Wise Women Gathering

The website is ready.
The systems are set up and tested.
The thank you emails are written and cued up.

I’m ready.

Tomorrow I am launching the Wise Women Gathering website and sending out invitations to a free Spring Equinox gathering on March 21.

A Threshold Moment

I took some time in a personal retreat this weekend. I had the time and the space to pause and reflect, as I consciously stepped across the threshold of my Second Saturn Return.

I called it a Saturn Sagessence Retreat.

Making Space for the Maiden

I spent most of the time at home. I only left the house twice. I created a container for the retreat time by clearing my energy by dancing at Dance Temple on Friday night and getting a massage this afternoon to mark the end of the retreat.

Part of the time I leaned into the Saturnian energy for the final preparation of the website. I set up the last of the systems, created the launch and equinox packages, and scheduled the emails to go out tomorrow morning. I also turned the whole thing into a style guide and templates to make it easeful the next time I have a gathering I want to share.

This turn of the spiral is about the Maiden heading off on a journey of discovery. I harnessed the energy of the waxing crescent moon, the Maiden energy by creating and doing things that made me smile.

I watched the play of the sunlight on the snow and the coming and going of the neighbourhood flocks of magpies, robins, sparrows. Instead of the nuthatch I usually see, I got to watch a small woodpecker make his rounds in the elms out front.

I painted with a tiny little paint kit and art trading card canvasses. It was delightful.

I made three different soups and meals, which all turned out well; and I washed all of the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. I made several frozen lunches, a little gift from current me to future me to help make things more easeful (and yummy).

It was a lovely reset point before the invites go out tomorrow.
