New moon solar eclipse
This morning was a super charged new moon with the solar eclipse that is drawing the eclipse portal, with it’s intense energy of chaos and opportunity, to an end.
It is the classic Alberta spring, we had a big snowstorm for the past few days, calling winter back for one more curtain call. On Wednesday the snow had melted everywhere but the backyard, but now everywhere I look there is a blanket of 6 to 8 inches of beautiful, sparkly new snow. The light and fluffy kind, so the branches and fences are covered as well, and beautiful swooping waves and developing as the snow melts off the edges.
It looked like everything had been wiped clean. Winter’s dirty snow and ice has been replaced with fresh new uncompated snow, that hasn’t been weighed yet. I took it as an encouragement to pause and feel into what else I could release, what beliefs and memories, what energies, are not my truth and are holding me back as I prepared for the new moon.
New moons are for setting intentions. They provide an opportunity to feel into and get clear about what I am calling in for the next 6 months? What is wanting to be birthed through me? What experiences do I want to have?
Even though it looks like winter, I know that spring equinox energy is still with us & is providing the energy of creativity & growth. It seems appropriate to be birthing Wise Women Gathering at this time of creative energy. I am leaning into the maiden energy of new beginnings as I call in the wise women, my soul sisters, the divine right people to come and celebrate and play and explore and laugh together; and I am callingin ease and grace as I craft this website – relearning WordPress after quite a number of years, has me scratching my head at times.
I am open and curious to see how this new moon cycle, with the moon in Aires, will show up.
